Jorge Granados Moreno is a well-known Criminal Trial Attorney and Notary Public, who speaks Spanish, English and Portuguese. In 1977 he obtained his Law Degree at the University of Costa Rica (UCR). In 1984, he was awarded a Criminal Law specialization by the University of Costa Rica (UCR), graduate of the PhD in Criminal Law from Universidad Escuela Libre de Derecho.
Professionally, Attorney Granados has experience in the public, private and education sector.
On the Public Sector, he had the honor to be appointed as Public Defender for 6 years (1979 to 1985) and also Trial Prosecutor (1985).
On the education sector, he was a Roman Law Professor at the University of Costa Rica (UCR), and Criminal Law Professor at the UCR and also at Universidad Autonoma de Centroamerica, (UACA).
He was appointed “of counsel” for Criminal Matters of the Colombian Embassy and Consulate in Costa Rica for more than ten years.
